Our deep understanding of the employment landscape and strong ties to the local community enable us to design unique programs. These initiatives are tailored to the security and economic realities of the country, the specific needs of the Negev region, and the diverse populations living here.
Following the Iron Swords War, we developed a special program for evacuees from the Gaza envelope. The program provides a social and professional framework for employers, job seekers, and small businesses, helping them navigate new challenges and rebuild their futures.
Through the Startup Negev program, we aim to increase the number of young people from the Bedouin community entering the workforce. Additionally, we have created a unique local network of over 120 small business owners collaborating on regional initiatives and fostering new opportunities for partnerships.
And this is just the beginning.
The Russia-Ukraine war has brought a wave of Jewish refugees to Israel, with many settling in the south. The Lauder Employment Center in Be’er Sheva has launched a unique program to help Russian-speaking immigrants integrate into the Negev’s job market.
This program offers a variety of services to familiarize them with local employment opportunities and support them in finding roles aligned with their skills, experience, and aspirations. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition, optimal social integration, and meaningful employment.
